I quit my teaching job to pursue tutoring full time, and have done so since August 2020. I'm an expert at preparing students for the AP chemistry exam. |

About Me
My experience related to teaching, chemistry, and education is basically:
-From 2016 through 2020, I taught AP Chemistry and high school chemistry at a public school in Indiana.
-2017 to the present I've been a curriculum writer for AP and college chemistry.
-Since March 2020, I've been tutoring chemistry online.
-This year, I helped grade the 2021 AP chemistry free response exams for college board.
-I tutored 10 students as a group from January through May leading up to the 2021 exam. 5 of the students earned a 5 on the exam, and the other 5 students all earned either a 3 or 4.
-From 2016 through 2020, I taught AP Chemistry and high school chemistry at a public school in Indiana.

Have I tutored before?...Yes
Can you do AP chemistry?.... Yes, it's literally all I've done since 2016 after graduating college. I taught it for 4 years, started writing curriculum content in 2017, and started tutoring AP chem in march 2020. I've lead 3 AP chem 'boot camps'.
Can you help with general chemistry 1 and 2, and labs? ....Yes, I'm very experienced with that content and those labs, as a former student myself, as a teacher that conducted the labs, and as a tutor.
Can you help with organic chemistry? .....I can do organic chemistry 1, but not organic chemistry 2. I would not recommend myself for this, but I do have recommendations for great organic chemistry tutors!Were you a chemistry teacher in the classroom?....Yes, for 4 year 2016-2020.
