| Subject Expertise | I have a BA in Chemistry, BS in Biology. and a Master's of Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers University . Teaching and tutoring are my passion and I have 10+ years of experience. I started tutoring as a sophomore in high school and over the years I have worked with students with all abilities and help anyone from K-college with Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies. In addition to all this I have helped 20+ students improve their SAT score by 200-300 points and their ACT score by 7-10 points. I have worked with companies such as Revolution Prep and Mathnasium, therefore I have professional test prep tutoring experience. For test prep I use your diagnostic to make an individualized plan for you using a plethora of resources that will help you target your weaknesses and hone your strengths. In addition to all this I also worked as a chemistry TA at a high school. For all subjects- my main technique is guiding a student to the solution. I feel accomplished when my student understands the convoluted meanings of sensational passages, difficult math problems, convoluted scientific concepts, and can remember boring history facts. My Socratic method helps students strengthen their basics and guiding them to the solution by questioning their questions would make me the tutor that you want. College courses I tutor include- organic chemistry, biology, chemistry, microbiology, biochemistry and physics, (MCAT Biology and Chemistry) at my university.
