| Any other thing you would like others to know | My lessons are engaging, innovative, and thoughtful of the learner! I strongly believe in the philosophy of mastery teaching and learning. Simply put, mastery means that I have conveyed the learning target in such a way that the learner is able to replicate my knowledge. I implement highly effective strategies that engage students and foster their ability to comprehend concepts. For example, I use techniques such as rhymes, word associations, and my favorite – humor. Sometimes, being a little silly can help students loosen up to pave the way for productive thinking and comprehension. |
