| Any other thing you would like others to know | Hi! I am an experienced tutor with a PhD in Molecular Biology and a 1st Class Biology degree, both from the University of Nottingham and have a full DBS check. Over the last 18 months I have tutored over 1500 hours online. I have been tutoring maths and science from KS2 through to A-level both online and in school and have had some fantastic results with students. One of my KS3 students has increased 20% on their school tests after just 12 weeks tuition and other students have been complimented on their achievements or moved up a set. My GCSE students all received the grades they needed to go onto their further studies and my A-level biology students received B-A*`s and all got into their first choice universities! I appreciate how hard both GCSEs and A-levels can be and like to motivate my students to achieve the best they possibly can. I like to split work into three sections: firstly, I come up with unique methods of ensuring the understanding of complex material; secondly, I help students come up with creative methods of remembering the material, and finally I like to provide help in both exam preparation and technique. |
